Education
Every child deserves a better future. A future where they can learn, develop, hope, thrive. We truly believe that future starts from education.
According to UIS, in sub-Saharan Africa over 34 million children of primary school age are out of school, out of which 19 million children are girls. Sub-Saharan Africa remains the region with the highest out-of-school rates for all age groups (over 96 million children, youth, adolescents).
These children fight for their living each day. These children do not know what a real childhood means. Instead of playing and learning, they search for ways to provide for their living. Still these children live with a hope, a hope for better future, a future they deserve.
Lifelong learning
Lifelong learners are future leaders. We want to grow and support the passion for life-long learning in every person irrespective of age.
Millions of young people and adults on the African continent lack foundational skills and competencies required for life and work in a modern globalized world. Millions of these young people and adults are aware of the problem but do not know how to solve it. Millions of these young people and adults hear the term “lifelong learning” from politicians, officials, as the term became fashionable, but do not understand how to connect it to their lives. Many of them lost hope in a better future, many still hope. We want to help if not all than some of these young people and adults turn their hopes into reality.
Future
We pursue a dream of a better future for Africa through education.
Africa is the second largest continent in the world with over 1.2 billion people as of 2016 and expected 2.5 billion by 2050.
According to UNICEF, only one in four children has access to early childhood learning, which means that many children miss the start in their life. Quality of education remains a huge challenge.
Contributing to today’s education we contribute to a better future tomorrow.
We believe in the power of education. We are happy to meet like-minded people all over the globe and spread our beliefs and passion to give an opportunity to those who are disadvantaged today to build the world they strive for.
